For me, the goal of this surgery is to give back the life to the patients. This is the drama of these patients. First, they stop having sexual activity. Usually that is the easiest for them. But then they cannot travel for a long journey, so they stop taking flights. Then they stop going to the cinema. Then they stop going to the restaurant. And finally they just live facing the pain. They wake up in the morning to work, because they have to eat. And sometimes they cannot work anymore. So the idea of this treatment is to give back the life to the patient. This is the goal of the surgery.
